Reports are received by members of Student Wellbeing Services (SWS) or the HR team, depending on whether the report relates to BSU students or staff.
The SWS team includes specifically trained members such as Sexual Violence Liaison Officers and the Gender-Based Violence Caseworker who respond to reports referring to sexual violence and/or domestic abuse.
Experienced wellbeing/HR advisors can offer advice and support if you have experienced other forms of violence, harassment or hate crime.
We're here to listen and discuss your options so you can make an informed choice on what you’d like to do next. We know it can be difficult and emotional to talk about negative experiences, and we will always treat everyone who talks to us with respect and compassion.

Submitting a report is not a direct route to formal reporting, but will link to you support and advice, which can include a referral to the disciplinary process if you decide to take this step.
If you prefer to make a formal report about misconduct by a BSU student directly rather than speaking to SWS first, please contact the Student Disciplinary team on complaintsofficer@bathspa.ac.uk
